God's promise begins only when you see the crucification as an unimportant dream, and with Ressurection - which is seen as uninterrupted continuity of life with full importance of/on it.

Oddly enough those two thieves on their crosses to the left and right of Jesus who both suffered just as much are hardly mentioned. Obviously and according to the law they deserved it...
Had they both been forgiven in that which became known as the Christian tradition it would have been a better deal than someone dying (Jesus) knowing that he'd end up in heaven anyway.
The whole thing is/was pointless.

Not pointless--God is a God of justice-Deut 32:4)-- a sinless mortal( Adam) rebelled and sinned losing a good standing with God, and sin dominoed to this sick world.
A sinless mortal lived a sinless existence, yet died and paid the wages of sin he did not owe= the ransom sacrafice-- So after the 1000 year reign of Jesus over the earth as Gods king and Jesus hands back the kingdom to his God and Father, he subjects himself to God)--forever-and the 2nd ressurecton is handed to God in a sense--where all have washed their robes white, and earth, the new earth was transformed into an Eden(Paradise)--No Wars, fear, hatred, greed, lusting, drunkeness, starvation, cancer, aids, etc, etc all the way down the line. Not aging as now. Loved ones ressurected. The world God originally planned. Because-God is love.

The crucifixion of Jesus is the fulfillment of God's promises, not the beginning. When Adam and Eve sinned and realized they were naked God made clothes of animal skins so they could cover themselves. This required killing the animals and was the first indication that the death of someone innocent was required for the forgiveness of sins.

Finding the real Jesus and being sent to his Father is the #1 priority. To accomplish this-John 4:22-24--But its a shame Few even know Him. Jesus warned all about that-John 15:20-21)--

How is this 'sin' (the one committed by A+E) not in accordance with Genesis 28?
