Forgive me for acting like a nut for a minute, Tom, but I was just thinking how much fun you might have at the expense of your friend who reacted so strongly to your going out alone. Maybe you could ask if he has had is "Loner Loser Cootie Shot" The administration of the vaccine could go any number of ways - the first being the most usual for standard cootie shot vaccination:

Quote:
Play treatment

In the United States, children sometimes "immunize" each other from cooties by administering a "cootie shot". One child typically administers the "shot" by reciting the rhyme "circle, circle / dot, dot / now you've got the cootie shot" while using an index finger to trace the circles and dots on another child's forearm.
In some variations, a child may continue to then say "circle, circle / square, square / now you have it everywhere", in which case the child receives an immunization throughout his or her body. These variations may continue to a final shot where the child then says "circle, circle / knife, knife / now you've got it all your life", or "circle, circle / fire, fire / now your shot will never expire", or "nickel, nickel / dime, dime / now you've got it all the time", or "circle, circle / penny, penny / now you have it for infinity" while using their index finger to draw vertical lines on the other child's forearm.

If you do that - you'll REALLY give him something to worry about.

I'll behave now!

Lamby, you reminded me that I tend to be more friendly when I'm by myself... I tend to reach out more, than if I'm in a group. I wouldn't have met some really good friends if I hadn't gone by myself on a couple occasions.
Oh - & funny immunization shot! lol

I guess it also depends. Sometimes, with some people, if they take forever downtown, i get frustrated, though other times it is fun to adventure around with someone/s. Movies i do like going alone to, for some reason. Pubs or bars, the odd time i go to them, it can be good to go with friends for the most part, though in a new city, i sometimes like to go it alone, meet and mingle amongst new people. For the most part, i am fairly neutral, though i do like to be able to come and go where i please, at my own pace, so in that sense, i do prefer solo.

Was at 7 eleven the other day, and i swear i saw a buddy of mine in there, but im not sure, he wandered back by the pop cooler before i could say hi to him.
