As for God. Well I feel it is definitely NOT a man at all. It is definitely NOT sitting on throne judging us or punishing us. That is just an archaic way of looking at it imposed on us by the church to control us IMO

I feel God is a magnificent creative force but apart from that I do not know and don’t want to accept anyone else’s ideas of God until I have experienced it for myself. Then I will KNOW for sure. But it’s good to hear other opinions tho.

I’ll just stay open to what is and wait and see what happens.

Starman. I like your comments and tend to agree with them as usual. Ha

And what is the purpose of wait and see, is the truth not already known. We do not know Spirit's truth but we know ours. What will happen when it happens because you already know. Rebellion : )

Do you mean Spiritual truth? Once we become Spirit we magically know and fall into place. Not even soul agrees with Creator when wrong.

Can you give an example of when the Creator is wrong, yet a soul would
pick up on that and disagree with his Maker? Thanks. :)

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Some were born others like my self manifested.. I probably would be born one day : to my true mother I hope.. until then everything is a lie and a truth..

I perceive life differently to those that were born and we’re probably not alike.. I’m chasing a different dream but in reality it’s chasing me..

I try to live away from it but everyday it grows near and near.

I try to choose life choices that will steer me away from my dream but all my hopes and wishes are with it- in that one silver lining my ambitions and goals : I’m not ready for it yet but I will be once life is done with me.. was it worth it? I don’t know but it’s rightfully mine to take my fate my reality..

It bruises to be honest because that’s where my centre is..

It’s only basic being with my clan but like true magnets we are moving closer-

It’s where all other desires and dreams are shaped and made and I try to undo the death my life has seen…

I hope that's ok to ask. Thanks.:)

It is a long story Miss Hepburn, one which I'll keep short - but I can say that I have been almost devoted to the search for a logical reason of being here - not of looking for a god or creator but really one based on a natural commonsense.

Very often I think of my first determining years as playing the most important role. I grew up during the war years in a family where my aunts and uncles were deeply ensconced in their beliefs as Jehova's Witnesses. They were I saw exceedingly good people, determined not only to spread the word but also to help those around us during the horror of war and and poverty and its accompanying death and destruction.

I learned to read because of 'The Watchtower' and 'Awake' - these were always lying about just waiting to be picked up. I was also taken to Kingdom Hall every Saturday evening to hear 'the good news'. They were all lovely people and even went out when bombs were falling to help the Civil Defence rescue people from ruins.
So in that sense I got off to a good start. Understanding that society and one's place in it has to be safeguarded.
Afterwards as things improved after the war (to keep it short) I was in contact with baptists, evangelists, church of England, Roman Catholics as well as mediums, spiritualists and all kinds of beliefs systems. At the back of all this was school and the Bible. I even, at the age of 16 bought myself a Concordance with my last pennies - this was the printed version of today's internet and allowed an instant finding of anything in the Bible.

However it was slowly dawning on me that all of this stuff had no substance and that there must be something which offered more. I enrolled with 19 in the London School of Philosophy and for the first time heard the meaning of Awareness. This changed my life and I moved to Eastern Philosophies which then seemed to offer so much more. I read everything possible, listened, joined in, partook, poked and searched. I did the same with the Kabbala, with the Anthroposophie, with Buddhism, with parapsychology - becoming a member of all kinds of societies and groups - I'm still a member of the Basel group where one of your favourites Gregg Braden still appears regularly.

I have never believed in anything - nor do I today but understand that most people need time to come to grips with the mysteries surrounding us all,

We have hardly started our journey - there's plenty of room for discovery.

Just one more thing - I've been very fortunate and have at various times had access via what you would call cosmic consciousness to other apects or levels of existence. I like to call these moments 'being in another octave'.

LEMEX. I think you have misunderstood what I meant by “wait and see”.

I didn’t mean literally sit on my backside and do nothing, just waiting for a God to appear lol

What I meant is that I put a lot of effort into my spiritual practices, hopefully trying to figure out what is God and where I fit in to all of this, just like many of us do.

I can’t just blindly believe that God is what others have said it is or what I’ve read in books. I put the time and effort in so I can find out for myself.

BUSBY:
Yes I also discovered one day that none of those teaching had substance and went off down the Eastern teachings line where I found the same thing as you did.

I also don’t believe in any man made religion cos I’ve got a big problem with someone telling me what I can do and can’t do, especially if it’s a man (no disrespect to men in general). I mean Jesus didn’t belong to any religion and Buddha didn’t belong to any religion so why do we have to. If we just follow their example and live according to their teachings, we can’t go far wrong IMO

The Dalai Lama was asked what religion he was and he answered “Loving Kindness”. Yes, I thought that will do me!

Just my opinion of course.
