I can think of only one fear I have ...seeing my cat walk across the street...even tho it's just a small residential one.
Each person has their own thing in this life ---fear has not been mine.
I've had other obstacles ...I'd rather not list!

Hello
That life purpose was a big issue for me growing up as I came into this life so very different from those around me and so closed off in understanding of it all.
I am a natural born Medium / Psychic / Healer with it all there developed from birth it would seem. Often have it called "Light Switch On" where there is no off or down time for me. I had to learn whom and what I was then from there what I was to do with it all. How I could be me and work with other's being me.
That did not come until I was in my 40's that I finally got the full picture of what it could all mean and how I could be in a role with it all to be with others and maybe help out where I could. I knew early on in my 20's I did not want to profit from being me and that was not an easy thing for those like me to accept as for so many its more about money than it is about giving back freely of your abilities.
I now at 60 look back over the years in all that I have done and all I still have to maybe do and have no regrets on the path I have walked along.
I know well I have had some pretty great successes in the work I have done with those that find my space. I too know that I am blessed to be me.

In my understanding, we are eternal, primordial living light of Self and as such, complete as a receptor but not quite so as a transmitter, something like an infant. As such, repeated descent and ascent into gross and rising to subtle vibrations in a realm of duality, the pangs of separation and joy of union ~ these seemingly harsh measures in limitation, they accelerate our growth.
The entity (us) who seeks on earth level is illusionary and when we recognise this, our awareness operates free from regrets of past or fear of future but the awareness itself needs to be seamless and unbroken, transcending the states of waking, dreaming and deep sleep, at all times centred in true being or Self, which is pulsating love & light.
This, in my view represents earth life purpose, in this school.

Just read post and such a beautiful statement and true imo. We are here to be happy. I agree. Isn't being happy a purpose. 
Doesn't spirit set the purpose not us. So we can communicate with spirit and ask. There being spiritual reason.
As with all experience there is never one experience but many levels, even being true, is the experience itself is understood and not understood, felt and not felt, experienced and not experienced, realized and not realized, known and not known literally even knowing the statement is true. |

Good one, Molearner! I think if everyone that ever lived, lives and is going to live on this planet, truly gave and received love, there would be no purpose for a lot of wasted suffering in the form of hating and hurting one another. |

I'd have to agree with hazada guess. It's all very unique and indivialistic for each soul. I do however feel that we are aligned by a mutual goal in development of love, understanding, compassion, forgiveness and empathy to help aid in evolvement and growth of soul and humanity as a whole.

I feel sometimes that a lot of us have forgotten how to do things that make us happy because we have spent so many years trying to make others happy as many of us have been conditioned from family/religion/church to do just that.
I know I have certainly spent many years of my life doing exactly that ie for kids, family, friends even strangers but didn’t really feel that happy in the long term. Why? Because I didn’t honour myself or my own needs.
So I feel Having a balance between putting yourself first sometimes and others sometimes, will make you much happier. In my experience.
I’m seventy years of age and I bought myself a tee shirt the other day with ITS ALL ABOUT ME printed on it. God it felt good. Ha ha
