Classes?

There are no classes offered here and after a discussion in chat today some members are willing to both teach and attend classes should they be offered. There have been many impromptu classes in chat that I'm sure many members would want to learn. If there were enough members on the forum willing to teach and enough members who wanted to learn (i.e. how to meet your guide, working with crystals, intuitive art, etc.), could classes be scheduled by the mods, and taught by those willing to teach and answer questions? Is anyone else interested in this idea?

I think its a great idea. Everyone needs somewhere to start when learning something new.

Hello

While that is a possitive idea it can not be controlled by SF to the "Qualifications" of the one that would be doing such teachings. This leaves SF Open to being taken to responsiblity over something going wrong.

SF too is set up as a "Discussion Fourm" and that too is a very effective way of learning as we know we learn by asking questions and finding answers.

Too we have to respect that many take great pride in sites they have on line that are set up to teach, many are "Free" a and are well run. In this the person has taken on the responsibilty to be moral and ethical in what they are putting forth.

SF too has to take into consideration what one might pass on in teachings is "Copy Write" material that does not belong to the member presenting it. We too as SF would then be open to legal actions for that avenue as well.

We are blessed to be able to "Discuss" things here and learn from other's what has worked for them.

Lynn would "How To .............." threads be OK and people ask questions on the thread and get them answered?

HOW to threads would work yes....remembering that we all have OUR ways of how we learn and what works for us.

REMEMBER too please to resspect that if your using material from someone else that there are "Permissions" to re use it in place. This is found at the BOTTOM of most sites where it will have a "Disclaimer" on use.
