Homo Naledi is a species in the genus Homo, the same genus we humans evolved from (though we evolved from Homo Sapiens with a smidgen of Neanderthal thrown in).

Homo Naledi is the only other species of the genus Homo to have been found to have buried their dead. It's not known if they died out 2 million years before Homo Sapiens or whether they co-existed.

Homo Naledi was found in the Craddle of Humankind in Johannesburg, South Africa.

One of those films I can't bear to watch.

I have a Tattoo. Here's a picture of it.

It's the initial of my wife's first name. I don't like wearing metal against my body so got a tattoo instead of an engagement ring.

I take it you are not one of those who regret their tattoos.

No, it's such a simple tattoo and not one based on ego, so I'll never regret it. It is a gift to my wife. Whether we stay married or live or die, it'll always be that gift.

I had a nightmare getting it though. The first 3 tattoo parlours I went to refused to do it. The 4th one only accepted after I offered double the price and signed an affidavit exonerate (i.e. ex-honour-ating) the parlour of all responsibility.

It was then I discovered how incredibly snobbish tattoos are here. You have to be rich to break into the elite world of tattoos in Scotland unless you're a stereotypically leatherbound hairy biker.
