Where to meet new people ?
Hi again !
I wonder where you found your loved ones/friends ?
I am actively searching for intimatie friends for a couple of years now, but no truely significant person has come by, yet. I tried the "pick-up" scene, wich has helped me get a couple of "results" plus my social skills and life in general have changed positively.
What I am doing (trying what everybody else does;clubbing and such) is not working. So I am looking for different approaches.
Cya :)

Try local interest groups. Whatever it is (and it doesn't just have to be a book club :P), there's possibly meetups, gatherings, etc, where you can find people you already share some good common ground with. Run through a few search engines, ask friends and family if they've seen or heard of anything, etc.

Oke, you mean a "spirituality group" for example? I was thinking about joining a meditation group.

Join a meditation group if you are interested in it. You can go to a tennis club, a singles club or a night class where they do all kinds of things, such as, bush walking, computer courses, learn a language, a cooking class etc etc etc. It is important that you do something that you enjoy. As you know there is no guarantee that you will meet someone. If you do not meet someone at least you can say, I had a good time trying.

Hi,
I suggest that classes at a metaphysical store of some kind would be a good place to start. Then there are those meet-up groups for topics of mutual interest.
Best Wishes!!

A metaphysical store, that sounds unfamiliour, but smart !
I feel attracted to yoga and meditation, perhaps some exploring there.
Thanks for your ideas :)
