I was thinking an S name also. I also thought he was a leader, I got the word danger and a sense of family. Kinda all over the place!

Yes, the danger would h have been around this man. Sense of family in those he would have looked over. He would have been a leader in his community yes.

Does his last name start with W? There was something that he didn't like that he was trying to change and I'm assuming not all people were with his ideals on this? Tradition also came to mind.

Hello
Yes an important "Father" in his Church but he had a darker side to him sadly. As I type here I feel him come in so strongly. Yes while I fully embrace that he felt he had a path to keep order in this township there was not the need for the cruelty that was inflicted. While he stands firm on it was the times he lived in and order must be maintained my heart goes to those that fell into his bad books.
In his private chambers were thing that are not fitting to find in a church maybe kept as a reminder not to travel that road again.....
