see colours when eyes are closed

ever since I could remember I have always seen colours when I have my eyes closed and wasn't until recently that I realised that not everyone can see this lol I know that sounds strange. anyway I just wondered if it is my aura I am seeing or something to do with my chackras although I know very little about chackras and still looking into this, if anyone can shed any light on this that would be great thankyou xx

Are the colors bright?

Omg I have always seen colours also, I thought this was normal. I,ve never thought about it until I read this.

So funny, I took a 3 hr workshop with a friend...basically eyes closed in a dark room
with a sleep mask, laying down listening to pounding, wonderful music...(Stanislov Grof's
Holotropic Breath Workshop)
I asked him later if or what he may have seen and he said, Nothing.
I said, In 3 hours you didn't see anything?(meaning of course inside.)
Nope.
So I showed him a simple meditation technique...talked with him about his Third Eye
and focusing with this technique that gently keeps the eyeballs still.

Now, he understands the world that is within us.
Colors? There are landscapes, bird's eye vistas, mandalas, kaleidoscopes of geometric
patterns, stars, galaxies....God....the Light brighter than 10,000 Suns....enjoy.

sometimes yes especially after I have been protecting myself that I see the brightiest blue I have ever seen! are these my chackras???? xxx

I know its strange to think that not once in the last 20 or so years I have never actually questioned this. now I love going to sleep and seeing my own northan lights show in my head lol xxxx

Do any of you also see faces ? I do, but I never know who they are. I think they are my ancestors because I am tracing my family tree and I always think to myself ' if only I had some fotos ' Just wish I had screen shot inside my eyelids, lol.

ive had this since doing a reiki one initiatiuon. the colours i generally get are green and purple/violet. i was asked after a reiki healing at the end of the workshop if i got any colours during. they looked on a chart and it implies my vocation is a teacher. the implication was that we each have different and prominent chakras, and their colours, which associate with vocation. though i imagine you could see colours for other reasons too. i find they change in waves starting dim and becoming prominent then dimming again and moving onto the next colour.

yeas that is exactly how I see them sometimes in waves but most of the times I see large coloured circles with I black in the middle and then they get smaller and smaller between my eyes till they disappear then it starts off big again lol

I sometimes see like dark silhouettes but I can never focus enough on them before they disappear
