The Brilliant, Gentle Force
Who is not familiar
with their feel of forcefulness?
Who has never felt the urging,
strong, to push against?
Who has never sounded
justifications to explain,
in compelling rain of thoughts
why their force leapt unconstrained?
All without exception
wear the veil of Light,
that masks the soul shared freedom
to feel one is more right.
And “right” has built its castles
all across the timespace floor.
Profound dignity and desire
create soul experience galore.
What made the values that we share?
Surely not time’s wars’ remorse.
Inside each day we answer to
Our pure essential force.
The leaders now become us;
Each day reveals the fates
of what humans all created
with our force to separate.
World drama of long ages,
appears an endless pause,
where we separated
by wrestling against flaws.
Now our force becomes a parent:
the father to the man.
And something sweet appears as well:
Mothering compassion grand.
Compassion binds all masters
into one weave of Light,
where all touch one another
and share common insight.
To see the face of family
in every living one-
Some you might sing brightly with
Others grow your love.
Compassion is soul’s force of grace
that seeks to take our human face.
Awake the brilliant force in Time
Within You sleeps the Great Sublime!
Lay down the disrespect ‘tween tribes
for Life itself is sanctified.
Live bigger than you’ve ever known;
Compassion’s force brings Heaven home.
