Your Choice Of The Black Stones
Hello all. I want to purchase some black stones, but a bit undecided. I know the black stones do very well is absorbing negative energy, my purpose is to have them around my oracle/tarot cards. I have only ever owned Obsidan, 5 polished ones that were lost ;( I never felt anything powerful from them, but were very appealing to the eye
In your opinion, what stone is most effective/powerful to work with:
Black Tourmaline
Black Obsidian
Hematite ( thinking this is more grey)
Onyx
Am I missing any black stones?

Out of the list I'd probably pick Black Tourmaline.
Perhaps also check out Black Kyanite :)
My wild card would be Black Spot Quartz (can't find my darker crystals atm) ~ some are from Tibet:

I believe that is a Sichuan quartz. I got one too. Love it! |

if I remember correctly they were just sold as DT crystals. Here's one with more inclusions:

I have the ones you listed and black kyanite and definitely vote for black tourmaline but I would go for natural as opposed to polished or tumbles.

I too feel black tourmaline would be a good choice. I think there is Tekatite too which is a black crystal.

Snowflake Obsidian -
Shielding stone from negativity.
Brings in strengths at times of need.
Good for blocking Psychic Vampire attacks.
Can show one what needs to change for one to advance in mediations.
This is one that we often do not think about but it is very good at keeping things from us.
A friend of mine that does not understand anything about what I am into got a necklace of it. She has sibling issues with negativity so I suggested it to her. She picked it up and felt an energy from it right off.

Nuummite is on my watch list! Looks like there is a lot of fake stuff around though so watch out for that. Silver do you have black tourmaline too? From what I have read, for negativity tourmaline is better but it does look like a wonderful crystal.
