Why do you want to make the deity happy?

If you no longer believe in any of it, does that not include hell?

Personally, I don't believe in hell as in a place you go to after death. I believe hell and heaven can be created on earth and that after death there is simply a different dimension.

There are many paths to the Divine, and generally the way to avoid karmic repercussions of any sort is to be a good person and live a good life, to the best of your ability.

I'm speaking as an eclectic spiritual person with interest in a number of religions - including Christianity - as well as ideas outside religions.

I guess we all struggle, in defining God and all the belief system. M Teresa was no exception. I think it is perfectly O K.
If we look at the deeper meanings in the scriptures the fundamental truth has to be the freedom. We have CHOICE to believe or not to believe. That makes the scripture powerful.

Do you think the concept of hell is credible?

We do not know what happens in the next moment. Yes, hell and heaven are at best speculative. I do not dwell into those.
I see your concept of paths to divine, personally the path itself is divine and it challenges me every moment.

You don't believe the bible but you believe in hell? Maybe you just don't want to believe Christianity. It's not always so easy to just toss aside beliefs that are deeply ingrained. To start to believe differently, sometimes it takes alot of courage as well as being open to different ideas.
