The Wisdom Of Chuck Lorre
So, I went out and bought the entire series of Dharma and Greg last week...spent all last week watching every episode that I have seen before...many years ago.
What caught my attention this time, more than the sitcoms and the brilliance of his scripted writing, were all the so-called "vanity cards" that appear as a very brief 1 second screenshot at the end of each episode...it's kind of a 'blink and you miss it" thing, but I decided to concentrate and focus only on these...

Some of these tell their own stories about Chuck's "Alter Egos" Richie and Dave on their quest for enlightenment.
I mean, anybody who can write Big Bang Theory and Dharma and Greg, must know a hell of a lot about science and spirituality...a true literary genius and studying his life is what I have been doing for the past week....and watching re-runs of "Life on Mars"...enjoy.

Thank you my friend and I am glad you love it.
There are many messages in Dharma and Greg...it is also very funny...I like philosophical humour, but many do not...it is an acquired taste, I guess.
Wow, the genius of a sitcom writer to create many different personalities within his own mind...I think I missed my calling. lol

Note the continual reference to non-duality within duality...but too many take this whole spirituality trip way too seriously to be interested in something like this and hence why I only got one reply...people's brains filter out 995 of all incoming stimuli and miss all the good stuff when they do that....which is the whole point I am trying to make with this thread.

By the way I've mentioned non duality within duality before or even vise versa, That's real non duality imo. I last mentioned it in imzadis thread called friendship out of turmoil or something similar.

My all time favorite sitcom is "Two and a half men" and Chuck Lorrie has his infomous "vanity cards at the end of that show too....and I'll admit that i love pausing the show and reading them

That is truly amazing! I have looked for Shiva statues in garden shops before and I have never seen them...the closest I have seen is upturned garden urns that looked for all the world like Shiva Lingams. lol I really appreciated this and thank you for showing me.
Thank you to Lucky and captainamerica too...not many people will pause and read those vanity cards...and Two and a Half Men is also an amazing sitcom.
