Want to know who you are?

Complete the following sentences as fully as possible to give yourself a profile of how you perceive yourself to be.

1. I am ...... (eg. special, stupid, blessed, cursed, poor, rich etc)

2. Life is........(eg. an adventure, always difficult, always easy, etc)

So these are your perceptions of who you are and how life is, if you change these perceptions you can change your life in whichever way you want.

Now look through your lists and cross out all of these characteristics and beliefs that cannot be changed, are unvarying and constant and will always be so - this is who you are, in truth.

Careful what you burden yourself with.

This is so true, but it's difficult to simply cross out and pick which one's you want. It's such a deep state of being and mind changing and vigilance and letting go of the ego self..
