Faces in tree trunk

greetings starbuck,
i dont see whats on the tree, but what among the bush in the first photo
i see few native faces- care takers of the land
facing direction of the sheep but other faces im not sure of them and a image in the 2nd photo in the dark cave like part that you see through first top window of gate...of someone with their arm out and just resting on it.
impressions of these can last for few days to weeks if on furniture or items as i discovered through time. even one of a alien leader at my place lol

The Indians in and around where I was born have a society of healers that revolves around finding faces in trees. When they make themselves known the healer then starts to cut the face out of the tree but doesn't completely cut it away. The next year they go back and cut the mask away, finish the carving then use the masks in healing ceremonies.

It's an Iriquois thing, or six nations anyways, and it's something like the laughing (false;edit) faces society. You may also find some very interesting stuff in the stories of the figures that brought the six nations into being which'll help with what's goin' on.
