Do you think this will work ?

Curious to know, if you think this will work as an affirmation ? I am not exactly sure how affirmations work ~ some magical request sent out to the Universe ? or by saying it enough times, it convinces the mind that it is so ?

" Today I will have more than enough hours to do what I need/ should and want to do. I will in fact have some extra hours, to do with as I please "

Dream Angel xx

ps, any changes or use it as is ?

Hi DA ~ If it were me, I would use the word "time" in place of "hours" - it seems more open that way to me because time is more fluid and less restrictive / precise of a word than 'hours' - small thing, I know....I hope whatever you use works!

Affirmations are best spoken in a present tense to affirm what is already true.

So perhaps; "There is enough time/hours to do what I need/should and want to do. I have more then enough hours to do with as I please."

Thanks Silvergirl, yes on using time instead of hours.

Thanks Inner, I will change it to ~

"There is enough time to do what I need/should and want to do. I have more then enough time to do with as I please."

Wink

~Smiles~ We could easily be crafting this one until the cows (sheep?) come home, DA. I think I'd tink with it a bit and say: There is plenty of time to do what I want and I have more than enough time to do as I please. Maybe we'll call it the 'InnerSilverAngel Affirmation".....

I like the name ! hee hee on the sheep ! speaking of which, you are so good at finding smilies, find me a sheep ... please then we will ask Inner nicely to add it to the collection.

if we continue tweaking this affirmation til the sheep come home, this could be a never ending affirmation, lol !

hmmm... is doing " what I want "different or the same as " what I please " ?

Hmm....while you ponder, I'll wander - and look for a sheepish emoticon. In due time......;P

If you believe it will work, it will work.
