Affirmation Fundamentals

Greetings, Good Friends!

For those folks who use affirmations on a regular basis and get good results, I have two fundamental questions: (1) how many different affirmations do you use on a daily basis; and (2) how long do you use these affirmations before putting them aside, to make room for more affirmations in your repertoire?

I use audio affirmations with great success. I listen to them when I sleep and when I am working, say typing, for background/subconscious reprogramming. I get awesome, long-lasting results that leave me feeling more "solid in my emotional/spiritual core" and "balanced. I use 4-5 daily, and swap them out every 2 weeks or so. I am thinking of using affirmation "warm-ups" that will aim to make the affirmation process (the main affirmations) more effective. Such "warm-up" affirmations will render my mind in a more optimal state to receive the affirmations, including those warm-ups that address my energy level, relaxedness, and readiness to receive the "main' affirmations. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I'd love to hear from you fine people on this topic!

I steering toward "feeling" affirmation vs. "affirmation with words".
In other words it is so much more speedy to get results when you get in the "feeling" mood about what you are affirming vs. just repeating words.
Latter practice is prone to "affirmation blindness" where person just keeps repeating [affirmation] statements without changing his/her emotional point and thinking about something else.
Feeling affirmations requires so much more focused attention though!
Having said that the practice of listening to affirmations, or listening to inspiring sounds, music or recordings - works really well.

I'm just starting this now, so I think I was going to start by some basic meditation, then visualizing, and then saying the affirmations. Yesterday, it helped me to visualize first, then speak as I watch my visualization.

I agree. I use about a half dozen or so affirmations total. Over the years I've pretty well refined the list to the point where I rarely incorporate a new one. Here are a few that I have used for many years:

No matter what happens, I will be ok.

I am a divine immortal being.

People love to give me things.

The universe will provide.
