AP Help Please?!

Okay so I would need some insight on this.

I usually listen to Astral Projection Guided Meditations on YouTube and get super relaxed , but when its actually time to leave, I can't leave for anything! The techniques I tried and struggle with are the rope technique, and the roll over technique.
I'm wondering if you guys can tell me some easy( different) methods to get out of my body that I may practice.
Could you also tell me what time of the day or night maybe easiest to start trying to project?

Also, if you had to pick Astral Projection or Lucid Dreaming, what would it be and why ?

Thank you for all your helpful answers!

I personally wouldn't be able to exit body with someone talking to me, particularly settling into a hypnogogic state. Try it without the guided meditation.

Do you keep a dream journal?

Hi,

We all have different times. It gets worse for me the later the evening gets. My best times are when I first wake up (before arising), then late morning. Too late in the day and my awareness numbs as tiredness sets in. I do various affirmations about dreaming as I drift into sleep.

From my own experience, rolling out is best when in 'sleep paralysis'.

Here are some personal stories of people leaving their bodies through sleep paralysis:

Guided Meditations I have found are good for meditation only, they make you extremely relaxed but I've never been able to astral project while having something play in my ears. I'm curious to know if anyone has? Whether they can still hear the music when they slip into the astral realm or not.

Not me.

I have drifted off to sleep with music in the earphones but that's different!

I do however use various sounds (mostly rain) with meditation including body exits, when the ambient noise might disrupt things.
