speaking to a medium while astral projecting

I know nothing about AP.
I have read quite a few threads here looking for references to conversations taking place while one astral projects....no luck. My curiosity about this arose from an event that my wife had during a medium session. This event is being discussed in the mediumship forum in the " is meduimship limited to only seeing the dead?" thread.

She spoke to someone who is not dead and who was apparently quite adept at indian mysticism. It was a very clear conversation between my wife and this guru guy. Would you call what he was doing astral projecting?

Does anyone here know of this phenomena of carrying on conversations with mediums ...or anyone else for that matter, while out of body.

Its an interesting question dennisoc. Theoretically if you are projecting your conciousness to the afterlife, then yes. You are walking amongst others.
I also posted a question on the scientific forum, as I also believe that you should be able to 'EVP Yourself'. This is projecting yourself to a room with a recorder going, and shouting as loud as possible in order to be picked up.

It could be very difficult to do tho. Because if you are trying to focus on interacting with the physical world whilst you are projecting. Then surely your mind would just go "OK, best way to interact in the physical world is this:" and zap, you are straight back in the physical, and your AP has ended.

Like yourself, I have never Astral Projected. So this is just my theory based on endless amount of reading on the subject.

So? I'll ask again. Do any of you people that Astral Project know of any instance wherein communication was made with anyone on this plane.
My question specified "mediums" but any instance of cross-plane communication would further the discussion.

dennisoc... We call this telepathy, which is mind communication and happens out of body or in it, even in ordinary life, for many people these days. It's a natural ability that was lost to most people and is now waking up.
