My first memory is at about 1 month old and I'd just been brought home from the hospital and all my relatives were in the front room and my Dad was standing at the bottom of the stairs and showing me to the gathered relatives. I took all this in, the place, the people and the moods and thought "What am I doing here?" and the overall feeling I had was of surprise and exasperation... Then I went inside I suppose because my next memories much later. At about 1 1/2 years Mum and Dad took me to the doctors basically 'cause I wasn't coming out... The doctor said I wasn't using my eyes and would lose them unless I was encouraged to do so. Good old fashioned doctors eh! So Dad started taking me for walks and pointing stuff out and when we got home he gave me crayons and paper... and I started drawing and haven't stopped.
So what I am and where I come from is still a mystery but I've been an artist all my life and alot of that is about understanding my own uniqueness and abilities and even resonations...
Don't worry about the surface details 'cause you've maybe just gotta stubborn child intent on making his own mind up. Take him out and let him find something to tune into. He's here for the duration so show it to him.
