Heart unlocked with forgiveness

I've had a heart chakra block for a long time from past emotional abuse. Recently during my forgiveness meditations, I felt it unblock.

It was the most amazing sensation, like a physical unknot in the center of my chest, where I felt reconnected with my entire body. All of the spiritual work I've been doing came pouring through too. I felt "normal" again, filled with love and gratitude.

In this moment, my resentments disappeared. I felt kind toward myself and others. The black and white world view melted away. I felt the way I did before the abuse, only better because of the spiritual light pouring through too.

But it only lasted a minute. Then everything tightened back up and my ego thoughts returned, filled with fear of what might go wrong.

How can I learn to trust the spiritual love that brought me here, and surrender the fear-based thoughts, so I can stay in this place?

You had a glimpse of what a fully energised and open heart chakra is like.
You first felt it in meditation so its like you opened a door and now the door is open so it will be easier to get there the next time and it will last longer.
My first experience of the fully energised heart came in meditation and I know of others that had the same experience.

Keep doing the meditations and any other healing exercises and eventually that 1 minute will turn into a life long feeling.You will feel it first thing every morning,all day and last thing before you go to sleep......Don't rush it or want it ,just feel it when it comes and be happy that you found it.

It's a choice. Do you want the love or the fear? If you want the love then stop holding onto the fear. Don't let the past control you.

Forgiveness is about letting go. Holding onto fear is also hiding from it. Holding it at arms length to try and not get hurt. You have to face it to clear it. The fear is a reaction to pain. The pain was real but the fear is all in your head. It has no substance. There is nothing in it that can hurt you. So take hold of it and purify it. Imagine it as a dark cloud and make it burn until it's pure light.
