Healers in Missouri or Illinois?

Not sure if this is the place to post this; if not, feel free to move or delete it. Does anyone know of any natural/spiritual healers in Illinois, Missouri, or the greater Ozarks region? Not some naturopath, homeopath, or holistic medicine practitioner. No white coats or city offices.

I guess what I'm looking for is a local shaman or shamanic practitioner. Someone who works with raw herbs and lives out in the country. A degree or certificate is unnecessary, almost unwanted; what matters most is that calling to heal others. I need a healer who speaks to God through trees and lives as part of their ecosystem.

I have a feeling that what I seek may be hard to find. A great Earth-centric shaman, like those of Africa, South America, the Arctic tundra, in the midwest US? Not since the arrival of Europeans, the genocide of the native tribes. But it's worth a shot haha! I'll never find the mentor I need if I don't ask!

Have you thought of asking the Native people in your area.if they would help you.some tribes are more open to helping you than others, it depends on the shamans who they help

I'm not sure there are any natives left in Missouri or Illinois, I figured they'd all been killed or ran off their land. But I'll definitely look into it!
