Shivers
I've always been an avid fan of David Cronenberg's work, but this was not the movie supposed to be in the box. It was the 2008 Spanish horror Shiver, instead
Although I'm not much into horror films, this one is quite scary. With good acting, good film-making, and the Spanish mountain locations are a bonus.

300....rise of an empire.
My eyes were shut through 3/4 of the film! Too much slicing for my taste...if it 's not in the kitchen, then I want nothing to do with it:0
The moral of the story I can relate to:)

We had family movie night, I chose the 2011 Thor movie b/c I had never watched it ...
And, yes, there was some grumbling ...
I got alot of, "Mom, check this scene out", "you're not paying attention", "he's gonna do _____,  , ...
Eeeeeesh! 
My favorite part was when Thor's father took his powers away & sent him to earth as a mere human ...
Son shouted, "You *ss, see what happens when you don"t listen! ... 
Daughter laughed as she called him a dumb*ss ...
Huh! What! Come again! ...
I was speechless as my left eye started twitching & knee began jerking ...
At 18 & 19, my kids still say the damnest things ... |

I cannot believe this film passed me by,,,
It was like meeting up with an old friend,,,

This evening ....... watched the breathtaking - GRAVITY
Very exciting ride, which had you holding your breath on occasion, as if you were there yourself ...... top film !!

Mr. Peabody and Sherman....just watched it today at the movies...lots of great puns, but you have to have knowledge of world history to get it.
