yes TzuJanLi, it is much calmer and easier to stand near still water, than it is to stay in the center of a great storm, yet many people live their life in the midst of a great storm constantly seeking a center than is always in motion going to and fro, such a paradox of Life it is

Greetings..

The 'still mind' experiences the 'water',
and finds itself both running and still..
the seeker 'seeks', and so is a bother,
shaping its experience to fit its will..

Be well..

That's slightly weird.

Weird, yes! David Lynchian weird! Even better:

"Wearing a clown suit, he slowly raises his paddle, eagerly anticipating the moment it will strike... The room is dim. Outside it is pouring rain. Suddenly, he hears a creaking floorboard from outside the door, and he drops his paddle. A tear wells up in his left eye. It breaks free and slowly descends down his cheek. There is silence..."
(Hits the Pause Button and runs to the kitchen to microwave some popcorn!)

water is truly never still, always in motion and changing form, either rising or falling, and shaping itself to fit...

a bother ?

I was looking for a word rhyming with water, but.. yes, in the 'seeking' we are inclined to overlook that which we are not seeking, so.. we are not truly present for the whole picture, and as is often the case, what we seek is not what will satisfy the 'seeking'..

Be well..
