Dopleganger or "Doublewalker"

Once, on Coast to Coast, I heard this guy relate how he saw his double driving by him on the freeway, same car and all, and ,as he tried to speed up to catch up to him they kept going faster and faster and he never could catch up.

Wonder what he would have told the police if he got pulled over?
"I was chasing myself"?

that's funny.

i saw my doppelganger once. i was much older. she was three feet away from me. later in the week in a dream she showed me my death and what it would feel like. i also saw two grown identical twin boys there. five years after the experience i gave birth to identical twin boys.

i had no idea about doppelgangers when i had the experience and would never believe it if would not have happened to me.

i really like steiners theory on them.

Havinjg to do with, no doubt, multiple worlds, dimensions, theories in Physics.
I once read in Yankee magazine about a guy who was into ghost and gotjhic type of novels, and such. He once took a picture of a cemetary from across the road, which was published in the magazine. When he developed it, there was a victorian or gothic type of individual walking past the cemetary, long coat, tall hat, cane, who was not there when taking it.
Also, he walked out of his kitchen in his home, and his son in the living room turned white, and stated that he just saw him come out and walk upstairs.
Well he ceased his interest in these things, threw out all of his novels, and the phenomena stopped.
Interesting that in the link I posted, there are several stories I see like this, about children and their Dad.

I only know of one who has had this experience.

I have had this experience twice. Once when I was in high school, we had a house helper, he was supposed to wake me up at 5 because I hate waking up to the alarm, and I suddenly woke up with him standing next to the bed, he said “Wake up”, in a normal friendly voice, but it was just his silhouette, and it wasn’t moving (kind of like it was made of cardboard), and for some reason I responded “at 5”, then he said “ok”, and then I don’t know how he left the room, all I remember is that he wasn’t there anymore, and it felt like I’ve been lying down for hours. After a little while I got up, worried he had fallen back to sleep, I checked the clock and it was only 4:45 am. I got so scared so I ran downstairs and found him sleeping, he said he had no idea what I was talking about.

Another is at work, I was sat down in the cafeteria and I realized I left my wallet in the training room, so I told my colleagues I was going back to get it, for some reason none of them were paying attention to me, so I left, and as I was walking back to the cafeteria they were also walking back to the training room. They were surprised to see me, they said I never left the cafeteria, and that they even told me they were headed back but I wasn’t responding.

I have never had the experience, but find it fascinating nonetheless :) I wonder if it would even be possible to actually meet/speak with your doppleganger" or if that would somehow disrupt some universal rule??

when my daughter was in grade school. she told me that she met a new girl at school. she said she looked exactly like her.down to what she was wearing that day. she went up and spoke to her and asked her her name. the other girls name was exactly the same as my daughters, save one letter in the last name was different. strangely enough the girl my daughter met was never to be seen again.

the brain is a fun tool to use. when we focus on things, they happen more and sometimes they happen when we don't.

one time my dad and i were at the mall the day after Christmas. i saw the gift my daughter bought me. i was excited to see it and expressed it. my dad said i just wanted to see the price. i felt offended by his words. after i looked at it we walked away. about three steps into our walk an object flew fast off of a table. my dad picked it up and put it back. i was curious to see what it was. i went and looked at it, it was the hear no evil monkey. there was no one around to throw it and boy it really flew off the table of about 8 feet. when we left the store, i asked my dad what he thought about the flying monkey, he said as long as it does not fly out of my but i don't care. hahahhaha.

I have heard of cases of doppelgangers in UFO events as well, duplicates of those that have been abducted or had close encounters. I have also read accounts that these duplicates are some how genetically identical to these UFO witnesses or abductees.
