What kind of yoga will give my body the most health and flexibility? I ask because my.body is strong but inflexible.

I always recommend starting with hatha yoga and after some experience try other forms.

If you are interested only in health and flexibility, you could also try out a balanced diet and stretching exercises.
I believe the core goal of yoga to be more about liberation.

Hatha Yoga is one of the yoga forms that helps increase flexibility. You could also try Iyengar Yoga. In this yoga, the props used help you get proper form and alignment. With these props, you can increase your flexibility.

For flexibility the key point is practice. The asanas are pretty much the same in all forms of yoga with a few additions here and there.

Just find a class that you enjoy and keep practising at home..
