My daughter's recent OBE
My daughter, she is 23, recently had surgery, nothing major. She was taken into a room prior to surgery for preparation.
She was put to sleep there. The next thing she awoke from surgery, wide awake, no groggyness and in the recovery room.
The first thing she said was, 'I saw it all' she described to the recovery nurse the 5 people who were with her during surgery. She said she was standing in the corner watching it all. The recovery nurse was pretty amazed and said in all her time as a nurse she had never known any patient witness their own surgery. My daughter asked for a pen and paper in the recovery room so she could write it all down while it was fresh in her memory :)

I have many cases similar to this, it's kinda nice though when someone close to you has experienced this. I think what's more important, is the fact she was able to describe those drs/nurses who were around her during her surgery, most of all this being confirmed by the recovery nurse :)
