What creature could this have been?
One time my grandma and my aunt were out berry picking in an area that was very wide and open area and they saw a very old decrypted person. They were very aged. They didn't know whether it was female or male. Piercing blue eyes, hunched over, wearing a black cloak and had a walking staph. It looked genderless. When my grandma said "nice day out" to it it just stared. Then they looked away for one second and it vanished. It couldn't have gone no where. My grandma is of scottish and Irish decent, if that helps. Anyone know what it coild have been?

Some spirit visiting us usually just want to take a look.
They want us to know it sometime.

It could have been a spirit guide of some sorts. Your grandmother and aunt are very blessed to see a spirit guide. But we have to remember how we choose to perceive a spirit lies in the human imagination and psyche.
This spirit may have had a gender but the witnesses described it as "gender-less" which is a good indicator of how your grandmother and aunt view spirituality. I would ask them if they ever dreamed of this being before or maybe saw a younger version of it before. They are the only ones that would truly be able to identify it. The rest of us can only speculate.
