LOL I got that joke, Amy! But I admit, sometimes, I'm last to laugh. lol

Ok On a more serious note... well you can laugh all you want...but you'd have to have a really good sense of humor or be in a silly mood...

Here are some lds quotes that I like...

"A sermon seen is better than a sermon heard." - W. Critchlow Jr.

"In fighting against God, we are sinning against ourselves." - S.W. Sill

"Great nations are never conquered from outside unless they are rotten inside." - E.T. Benson

"If you can control your thoughts, you can overcome habits." - Boyd K. Packer

"There is one things more serious than merely to 'not believe', & that is to 'not care.'" - Sw. Sill

"An appreciation of diversification is the basis of unity." - TM Burton

"People do not really care how much you know until they know how much you care." - Hartman Rector Jr.

"The greatest battle of life is fought out within the silent chambers of your own soul." - David O. McKay

"The deepest expression of spirituality is love." - Robert L. Simpson

"The real man is seen & known in the comparative solitude of the home." - Hugh B. Brown

Leo Buscaglia shared the following relationship advice
he gathered from others...

-Expect to invest a great deal of time & energy in your relationships.
Lasting relationships don't just happen, they are created.

-Keep examining the nature of each of your relationships for they are dynamic, not static, & are, therefore, changing for better or worse.

-There are times when you may want to give up on a relationship,
but never give up on relating.

-Stop playing games. A growing relationship can only be nurtured by genuineness.

Calvin & Hobbes quotes...

So the secret to good self-esteem is to lower your expectations to the point where they're already met?

It's only work if somebody makes you do it.

If it was completely different, school would be great.

In my opinion, we don't devote nearly enough scientific research to finding a cure for jerks.

Life's disapppointments are harder to take when you don't know any swear words.

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Well, remember what you said, because in a day or two, I'll have a witty & blistering rotort! You'll be devastated THEN!

History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable & that life has order & direction.

From now on, I'll connect the dots my own way.

I try to make everyone's day a little more surreal.

Children's Letters to God

Dear God...
Is Reverend Coe a friend of yours, or do you just know him through business?

It's ok that you made different religions but don't you get mixed up sometimes?

How did you know you were God?

Dear God...
I am American. What are you?

Maybe Cain & Abel would not kill each so much if they had their own rooms. It works with my brother.

We read Thomas Edison made light. But in Sunday School they said you did it. So I bet he stoled your idea.

Dear God...
The bad people laughed at Noah - "You made an ark on dry land, you fool!" But he was smart he stuck with you. That's what I would do.

I do not think anybody could be a better God. Well, I just want you to know, but I am not just saying that because you are God.

I don't ever feel alone since I found you.

Dear God...
I am doing the best I can.
