The only one who doesn't give me the feeling of "Something is missing in the theory" is Abraham Hicks.
I never like Tolle, always felt like "something is off, something does not add up".
I had the same feeling about The Secret, yet everyone was ecstatic about that. I didn't get it, all my inner knowing kept telling me was, "It's just not quite right. Close, but not right."
Then I discovered Abraham Hicks and everything fell into place. Also why the secret isn't right, cos Rhonda Byrne stole the theory from Abraham Hicks, slapped her name on it and sold it, made a fortune with it. Good for her, glad for her, but obviously she didn't fully understand the theory/wisdom of the teachings. She gets close, but somehow still misses the point.
I feel the same about Tolle. Close, but misses the point.
Just go for Abraham Hicks. You can watch full workshops on YouTube for free. There's literally hundreds of hours to watch and it doesn't cost you anything.
For me it started when someone pointed out the interview of Wayne Dyer with Abraham Hicks (channeled via Esther Hicks).
I believe there's books as well if you prefer that.

There's that axiom of advertising that any publicity is good publicity.
Therefore if there is argument about whether Tolle is right or wrong that is merely on the level of ego and in a sense simply states he must be good otherwise why would the ego's come out and defend themselves and state cases either way?
It is alike hunting as in we decide the prey and very often it does not present itself to us to be caught... it wouldn't then be hunting would it? Nope, we have to go forth and learn what territories are and within territories find the effects of how the prey moves whilst also understanding their senses and how they might detect us.

I appreciate Tolle, but am personally not a fan. That doesn't reflect on the credibility of his work, though, because his work mentions many pertinent things. It's just that I compare him to Jiddu Krishnamurti who speaks so articulately so many aspects of individuals in context with culture, society and knowledge... but mostly I like the ol' 'Murt becuase he's a bit of an old goat. I find that most endearing. You see, my preferences have nothing to do with the veracity of anything. I just prefer to bag out Tolle. hahaha.
