I despise watching the news but...
I consider the news a necessary evil for me -- I like to know what's happening in the world, but wish there was a way to find out without all the negativity/spin/manipulation of the American press. *cough* Fox News *cough* |

I never watch the news.. too dark and drags my energy level down. I do find I "hear about" anything I truly need to know about, whether through word of mouth or a note from a friend. I don't have the same reaction to it when it comes in that guise as I do when I watch the news on T.V.

I also watch the news via the Daily Show and Colbert Report -- You can get the news, and its cushioned by the comedy its wrapped up in. |

I think some of my coworkers think I'm crazy that I hardly watch tv or even the NEWS. I don't think they're over the shock, they look at me like whaa...
I feel very serene for missing all the claptrap and **.

Silver I envy you like I said if it wasn't for Dan not being able to have his TV I would be very content without ANY tv at all.

I'm glad you brought this up.My aunt does not have a t.v and is baptist actually a treasure too.She believes the devil lives through it.I don't share the opinion but in all my life she still holds strong to this theory.
