Suggestion
I'm not sure where suggestions go so I'm placing it here. There should be an area where people who have taken out accounts in spirit entities names can post their topics or writings. I've been coming for like two years -even though I had to re-register when the forum went down. And now I see all these posts mixed into the normal catagories like Death & the Afterlife..but they aren't from our members. They are from spirit entities. Whether or not a person believes in spirit entities channeling or giving information they should not be mixed in a place where you go to have a give and take with living humans on serious topics.
If someone comes and has never even heard of channeling before or any of this and sees these threads, thats got to be very very confusing. Please separate these out from our forums.
I'm also finding it really strange that while SF has been very careful who to give accounts to in the past..now its an open door for anyone to create an account in a spirit entities name (whether genuine or not). And thats allowed, while other living humans have been banned from this site. Strange isn't it?
Further, one of these accounts quotes at great great length their teachings and that would not be allowed with the Bible, or a Buddhist text, or Hindu teachings or any other tradition. Why is this? Tell me that.

I'll bring this up with the rest of staff.
To be honest, I don't know which threads or member names you're talking about. If you could collect up some examples of what you're talking about and pm them to me, it would be a help. It's not really fair to be putting other members on the spot or criticizing them in the open forums so discussing this privately is the best route.
I joined in Nov 2007 and I don't recall having to be approved or wait for moderator approval on my account or name choice back then - pretty much anyone can choose whatever username they want, as long as there's no swearing or vulgarity. Accounts are not pre-approved so this concern of yours has me a little perplexed, but perhaps it'll become more clear after you've sent some examples to me by private message.
