When you say "if a child goes to spirit," are you referring to a child passing away? Sorry. A little confused by that. IF a child dies at a young age, they were more than likely already pretty evolved spirits who didn't have too much to accomplish on earth. Spirits in general don't grow while in spirit. They grow and evolve after experiencing differently lifetimes on earth.

Lil, that is not how I believe (respectfully). I think you can evolve while in the spirit world also. Otherwise I would be bound to reincarnate for eternity.
And I have read that sometimes a young spirit will peek into the 3D world and limit their exposure in that incarnation. And I've read they change their mind once born or even in the womb and "die".

Yes, they change their minds or 'peek'.
From all of my readings of direct messages from the Other Side...
it certainly is a natural continuation
of our wonderful growing awarenesses...
and we always have other higher people coming to visit us to remind us there 'is something Higher' still...so we
never are just satisfied with the status quo....there is more and more and more.
Now, who was it, I read he spent 100s of earth years with his intellectual buddies discussing and discussing, happily...and
these visitors would always drop by...then one day he asked them..."You 2 are
always so happy....whassup with that?"
That was the opening they needed to tell him about...more.

I definately agree with the above, that we evolve on the other side as well. Although not as fast as when we are in 3D.

Oh.. yeah. That I agree with that too about evolving more in spirit, but the whole thing about age was a bit confusing. I also agree with the part about spirits changing their minds en utero. Sometimes they aren't ready to come back, and sometimes the timing is just off and the parents are not ready.

I'm new to this forum but this discussion Lil, Deb, and others, is great! My name is Christian, 34 year old male from Pennsylvania, nice to meet you. :)
I have some limited pre-life memory, and very-early life memory. I remember "diving in" with all my intention, and a veil of great restriction coming over me (very hard to describe), and then wanting like heck to jump back out! I couldn't jump back out, no matter how hard I tried, but then a profound sense of "amness" and being all the Universe came to me for but a moment, as if to say, "You are still this." Even now I am working (successfully! :) ) to fully embrace being human, being incarnated in an environment of such constraints. It is a wondrous process!

My mother died at 96 years of age, a month later she appeared to me dressed in the fashion of the 1930's so she would have been in her 20's. My son died at 5 years of age and appeared to me in his 20's.

Age we revert to after transition
I have also been told the same thing about as spirits we go to the age of 30 whether we are young or old when we pass.
And, I think the reason we have no pain and suffering is because we do not have our physical body, but doesn't suffering come with our mental state also, and does this not go to the other side with us?
Would be great to have other opinions on this, if you have some views or information, and don't mind taking the time to share them.
