I totally agree!!! The effect that such a place can have on the mind cannot be erased.
I must also add that there are heaven-like realms that are temporarily created and projected by the Holy Ghost into one's mind, vision or heart in order to convey an important message, and can almost be equated to as heaven. Perhaps the stuff that makes such planes is heavenly?

To say there is a misconception is to imply there is a correct assumption. Conception by definition is only an idea with the understanding that it has not been proven.

You are not the only want who wants to go back there.. for there's nothing in this world that can even come close to that incredible sense of love... and even though we are there right now for in my humble view, where there's God, there's also Heaven and God is everywhere... it is our consciousness who can not perceive the whole extent of the nature of reality.. but it is possible.. one day when walking outside I was hit like an arrow hits a target with what I can describe the best as an explosion of love... while wide awake.. suddenly all was love and the whole world around me was here to love me and the whole world around me looked at me and said, look, he can see our love for him, finally, he can see!! The trees, the grass, the wind, the Sun, the Earth under my feet, my own body, I was being bombarded with love from everywhere.. Now I understand why people have worshiped the Sun throughout the ages, it is a giant ball of love, light is love and love is light.. they are one and the same..
If I tell someone that the grass it is an expression of consciousness and loves to be moved by the wind they would say that I am crazy but what I have seen it is true for I've witnessed this with my own eyes and mind while wide awake.
In my humble view, all it is an expresssion of conciousness, right now we are it and we are bathin in and out in consciousness, try live this for a short moment and sense the ecstasy!

Aknaton, ThatMan and all others wishing for more experiences fortunately that can be provided by the gift of memory. To remember is to re-member…..in other words to put together all the members of something…whether symbolically they be arms, legs, etc….and bring them to life once more…
We do that at the communion table when we heed the words of Jesus….”Do this in remembrance of me”…..we make him the living Jesus….
