The Science of Magic

Is what is deeded in ancient history as "magic" actually the result of advanced technology?

Could this mean the technology transcends the physical and dwells in the spiritual or dimensional planes of existence?

Or is there truly magic, where conjuring strange and mystical forces can be achieved on physical plane? Is magic for those only with a certain gift or can it be learnt? Is this in cooperation with the spiritual forces in the earth, or some outside influence yet unknown to us, or rather forgotten?

It has been said technology does exist in the spiritual realms and can be used through the life force of each of us, if we are taught, if this is the case, do we unknowingly use this technology, and as a result see psychic events as a consequence?

Magic was used extensively in ancient Egypt through Amulets and Symbols, were these a conduit to some spiritual or technological source?

Interesting, I think of imagination as magic, a portal to a metaphysical realm. The imagination is used to develop technology, which I do think of as a learned skill. But it takes work and effort in the physical realm to make the technology a reality. Magic is potent and infinite, but it does take work to tap into it then develop things that are part of our physical reality. So in that sense, one might have great access to magic but it would not be worth much to them if they have no means of implementing their ideas. I for one feel that there is not enough magic at work today, at least in my society (the U.S.A.). Or maybe the technology we have could be used in better ways...

"Magic" is the control and manipulation of natural Earth energies. The "switch" and control mechanism is the powerful Will and Focused Intent of the adept. These take a long time to develop as do other mental disciplines. When we understand the processes better, I am convinced that we will find that "magic" obeys the Laws of Thermodynamics and the Laws of Conservation. As ever, things which manifest on the Earth are OF this Earth ! Nothing "magical" or unearthly about magic ! The means of Switching/Control are within the very ancient disciplines of practices such as meditation and shamanic trance.

I see magic as mastery (or close to it) of the manipulation of energy and consciousness.

It's the ability to put out vibrational energy in such a way that it defies the ridged 'common' beliefs that limit the majority of those sharing the physical reality experience.

The way to overcome that 'ridged' set of 'common' beliefs? Release the belief systems that cause this limitation and see 'Magic' as a more natural occurrence.
