Belief in god takes many forms, don't presume to think "a belief" encompasses all them, especially the ridiculous

I'm just going to throw this out there and take it or leave it. I am not certain you actually talked to God but rather you talked to your God. Meaning you may have talked to that part of you that creates your personal reality and all the limits and blocks that come with it. God was lit up which could indicate you are interested on shining a light on this belief system that is either helping or hindering your progress in life. It could be foreshadowing your future self as an executive but if you aren't working towards a business degree then it could be showing a belief system that has to do with what you possibly see as success in life, being a high powered executive. If we don't feel that you are measuring up to that standard it can wreak havoc on our self esteem. Maybe you are delaying your happiness in life until you reach that status level regardless if you are planning to be an executive. These are the types of questions to ask and explore because you maybe aren't seeing things at face value. When it comes down to it, we give value to all areas of our life. What you value as important and imperative to have in your life can affect our level of happiness and well being. So ask yourself, are your perceptions of success in life helping or hurting how you feel about yourself? If they hurt then it might be time for a shift in perspective. A change of mind if you will. It's pretty common to see that type of person as the epitome of success in life but it's an illusion. Doesn't mean we can't strive for it, just that it is important to keep it all in perspective.

I make no pretext that it was god him/herself I was speaking too. Personally I take it as a high consciousness level I was connecting with. But even that I can accept that it was also simply symbolic as well.
On a side note, I have never had the ideal to be a corporate executive. That would be hell to me LOL.....I am an artist, I love working on my own, making what I like and living off that. I would not change that aspect of my life for anything (except maybe retirement). I have already surpassed any life expectation I had for my career, so I am quite content in that aspect of my life.
