Redchic12,

Sorry….but I try to avoid sharing personal experiences for a multitude of reasons. …..among them being if others have not had the same experience it is hard for them to give credence to what you have divulged…..and that is just a small part of the multitude. If this was actually a forum with Christians it could be of benefit to them but this is largely a skeptical audience.

Either common sense(which is the foolishness of the wisdom of man) or faith…..:)

Could you explain the bold, please?
And if that's a quote - who said it...I think
it's either a stupid quote or I'm just not getting it.
Common sense is a wonderful thing, period, I'd say.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I live in this world therefore I need common sense.... I personally do not see it as 'Foolishness'....

Proverbs 2:7-11
New Living Translation
7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest.
He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
8 He guards the paths of the just
and protects those who are faithful to him.

9 Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair,
and you will find the right way to go.
10 For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will fill you with joy.
11 Wise choices will watch over you.
Understanding will keep you safe.

My beef with ‘common sense’ from post #36 is that The New Living Translation used ‘common sense’ to replace ‘wisdom’….this then becomes a debate for philosophers. Albert Einstein said “common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen”. Slavery and not allowing women to vote was once just common sense. This reduces common sense just being a matter of opinion….something just commonly accepted….
