the Spirit

Hi. I was homebound for a time, and in those years it was like I was on a mountaintop with God. It seemed the Spirit would show me things and I remember even being a little fearful of that because I seemed to sense things before they happened.

Then came the point when I could go out and I went to groups we have locally and it helped socialize me, but it seems since then, I call it I am in a spiritual desert, and I so badly don't want to be in one, but I don't feel connected with Spirit anymore.

I had thought perhaps I was given something special in that time I was home, that I don't need when I am out, but if I could have one thing I think I want a connection with Spirit.

I just thought I'd write a little of my story here and I welcome any words.

In my opinion, being homebound makes it easier to detatch from the material world.

To compensate, a person begins to develop spirtual awareness. "Felt like i was on a mountaintop with God".

When a person ventures back into the material world, they are less likely to rely on spiritual awareness because they dont need it.

People can begin to feel it again by daily spiritual practice.

If you want to feel spiritual again then you'll have to put effort into it.
