Question Found out a soulmate is sick and now I'm experiencing symptoms

There's an extended relative of mine whom I consider to be soulmate. Yesterday, I found out he feels awful and is sick with a cold, tight chest, and a cough. I immediately felt deep sadness and concern. He's someone who always has challenges thrown at him. I hoped that in some way I could send him my love and care, through energy.

That same afternoon at about 3PM, I began feeling a tickle in my throat. I soon began coughing, and did so for the whole evening. It came on so suddenly, out of nowhere. It was an itchy cough that became more persistent. I had to blow my nose a few times as it was runny. I woke today to find myself experiencing more cold-like symptoms and feeling worse.

This is very strange. I have NO allergies and haven't done anything out of the ordinary. I haven't eaten anything odd that could've caused this. I haven't even come into contact with him, or anyone else who is ill. It sounds insane, but it's like I am feeling his pain. Is this possible? Or is this just a coinicidence that I feel sick too?

TF and I always know when the other is sick. And several times we've had the same symptoms at the same time so it's hard to tell which one is REALLY sick. Sometimes if we talk early morn we end up 'twinning' with our morning stuffiness and croaky morning voices! Also upon learning more about each other found out we both have the same ear and sinus problems, both have astigmatism and we even both have similar larger noticeable front teeth! I will say that when one is sick it is no picnic for the other! The coddling can get out of hand at times!

Hello

This is quite normal, at times shielding methods can help ease it some.

I have that all the time with me and Heart. He will have a headache like this AM and I will feel it with me. Its that reflection of the soul on the energy level that brings this on.

We both had a very bad cold, I got it first and it lasted almost 2 months then he got it and while his did not last as long he sure suffered. I think it was coming out in sympathy for me and a bit of stress that opened that door.

We actually got full blown sick together, to the point of having to sleep all week eat soup all week and generally look after each other, these things happen sometimes. In your case Sapphire I would say that you are very empathic. Hence picking up on the illness. You may find that you pick up other people's symptoms without realizing it.

I would feel this sometimes, feeling great and walk into a room and there it is a fug like a headache suddenly weighing on me. It's for us to learn to recognize when it is ours and when it is a symptom picked up from another.

With soulmates and TF's, there is this funny thing called synchronicity. It's good when it's good, and can be bad when it's bad. When I was with a soulmate, it sometimes felt like we were taking on each others problems (neither one of us had those things happen to us before we met). Sometimes, I think this is the universes way of making you understand each other better, as well.

Also, it's easy to predict things that are gonna happen in your life around them, because when it happens to them, rest assured, it's probably gonna happen to you (or someone close to you) very soon, and vice versa.

Thank you :)

I've heard of synchronicities happening with soulmates and TFs. I like your point about the universe trying to make us understand each other better. I think that's true. I just found it bizarre, as I'd only heard from someone else that he was quite sick. I didn't even see him, and nor was I around anyone else who was sick. Within a few hours of finding out, I was coughing and experiencing the same symptoms as him. I've been trying to look at it logically, thinking that I've just picked up a random virus somewhere. But when I think about it, I really believe it's more of a soulmate-related experience.

Thanks for your response :)

I suppose this just confirms to me that this relative is certainly a soulmate of mine. It seems too bizarre that I just started getting sick the same day as finding out he was sick, and I didn't even see him. I am definitely empathetic, so maybe that has something to do with it.

From what I can tell, it's not unusual to experience shared symptoms... Ive been getting a lot of health problems since my tf journey started, mainly respiratory issues...when it starts I usually become aware that she is aware of it pretty quickly

My estranged husband recently died after being on life support for a few weeks. .

The first day when I saw him, I knew he were gone, standing by his side I felt, as did many others, that he were no longer there.

But on the 3rd day his spirit reentered his body & it was the most horrific day of my life. It took me some time to realise that I was still energetically connected to him & that I was experiencing & feeling everything he was.

The pain & the feeling of the organs shutting down, was horrific.
I had a blunt pain in my calf for days, when I found out that they had cut his leg to release pressure from fluid that morning, I realised that yes the pain In my leg was no longer there.

I didn't sleep the entire time he were on life support, even many & varied sleeping pills didn't work. Towards the end I went to the hospital & begged them to knock me out. I was concerned for my own life. I was in no way to be there when they turned off the machines.

No one believed what I was going through or experiencing to the point that I was told that he was already gone & that the machines were already turned off, yes they were, but he held on for some time himself before he past & I knew instantly when he had died as I no longer felt as if my organs were shutting down or I was dying.

And this man was not my TF a karmic relationship.

.

These symptoms are probably mentally induced by your own conclusion that this person is your twin and you two share a connection. I say this as you clearly stated that you did not feel bad at all until you heard of it. I would suggest against this (it never ends well for the obsessive one), as their is no reason for you to make yourself suffer over a illusion that may or more likely may not exist. I say this as real love takes time and understanding of another person.
