Making specific contact & seeing darker elements

Hi, I have a bit of a two pronged question if someone is kind enough to help?

I lost someone very close to me a few years back but unfortunately the couple of mediums that gave me a reading in a local spiritualist church did not make contact with this person. I understand that you cannot guarantee who will come forward in these scenarios, but is there anything you can do to increase your chances of attracting a particular person in the spirit world?

My second question is to anyone who is an experienced medium, can you tell when meeting someone if they have attracted the attention of entities often I see referred to as low vibrations? Or even demonic? I only ask because I have been told by a couple of spiritualist that there is a sort of unwritten code where you’re not meant to give out information that might scare, worry, or trouble an individual but instead try and help them at a distance but without their knowledge. I have done some things that were meant to specifically draw on these entities when I naively started on this path with no training or real knowledge, and would love to know if there have been any spiritual consequences?

I see demons. I dont think its a low vibrational thing because everyone cant see them in spirit or on a person. Its a gift to be able to see.

If it were low vibrational - lowering your vibration then this gift would be basic.. everyone would see on a basic level.. All though many do see black shadow which is within the same family..but, to actually see a demon is another level.. and to see them in a person is a gift.
