Cavity, classmates, and bandaids

Can you help me understand what this is about?

I dreamt I was in an office, felt warm and inviting. I was sitting in front of a dentist and showing that one of my back teeth needed help. (Weird because, in the dream, the cavity had been properly filled in - though with only temporary filler- and wasn't in desperate need of tending to, yet I was upset and nervous / anxious and felt like it needed to be fixed.)
The dentist said he? she? (i honestly can't remember) could help, but had to finish tending to the lady who was already there and was being tended to.
Next thing I know, my high school crush shows up and I get all flustered and flattered, because, ya know, my crush is there. (Even his dream version is adorable! gwaaah )
Then, after a moment, my classmates (been a looonngg time since I was last in school) start coming into the room in a line, each one placing a, or several individual (new and still in the package wrap) bandaids into the left hand of the doctor / dentist all for me / my sake because "it was needed".

I really have no idea what this is suppose to mean and would love to understand it.

We use our teeth to chew food. Food are the ideas we take in. So possibly the manner in which you take in ideas is a bit decayed. Possibly you put something on the back burner to deal with later. Considering the dream had a lot of people from your past this makes sense that it is the back teeth and possibly something you put in the back of your mind. The old classmates giving up band aids suggests that some sort of healing may be occurring. I wonder if there was some sort of hurtful ideas you picked up as a child in school from your classmates that you are now looking to face and heal. Maybe how they talked to you or how you talked to yourself based on how they treated you. Sounds like you are ready to tackle some old thinking that is not healthy for you.
