tumblestones?

do tumblestones work just as well as other stones? i want to buy some crystals as part of the money i was given at christmas but i am also an incredibly broke student so thats all i can really afford atm. thanks xx

Yes, they work, although I have read somewhere that it's best to obtain "raw bricks of gemstones". Personally I prefer tumblestones over raw gemstones.

Yes, they do work well. I have been reading a new book on using crystals in grids for healing and I was surprised that they use very small stones.

At first, I wondered too if tumbling or shaping the stones affected their ability. I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy tumbled stones. Now I do not believe it does. I like to hold them while meditating and they feel much nicer if they have been tumbled. So now, I actually prefer a tumbled stone, especially my crystal balls and egg shaped stones. They are really pretty to display.

Smaller stones are easier to place on your 3rd eye or other chakras when doing healing and chakra work.

This month i've also bought some tumblestones. Being exciteted about practicing with them :)

Being tumbled does not effect the energies of stones
Personally, I feel it's all up to the individual. I have some tumbled stones that give off very nice energies. I also have raw stones that i love very much. I feel that tumbled and raw give off the same energies, it just depends on the stone. I like the feel of raw stones because they feel more natural, but I like the smoothness of tumbled.

All of the crystals i carry with me on a daily basis are tumblestones.
I believe that their energies are working for/with me.
If i get very stressed or emotional i quite often will choose one to hold for reassurance over the issue that is troubling me. Rubbing my fingers over the surface is so calming for me - sometimes i say affamations as well at the same time.
I dont program my crystals, but do clean & recharge them often - usually in the moonlight.

At this moment in time i am feeling huge energy from my rose quartz - but then again i am dealing with emotional issues again at the moment

But hopefully with the help of my tumblestone buddies i will soon be good again
