Smoky quartz

I now have a smoky quartz crystal, when doing my rose quartz meditation i put the smokyquartz on the top of my head to make me feel safe and for concentration.

I know what the smoky quartz does but im not sure how to use it.. I was thinking of laying down and taking deep breaths, visualizing my root chakra opening but for some reason i feel like theres other ways of meditating with this stone, i dont just want to open my root chakra i want it to aid in emotional balance and raising vibrations.

any advice on how i should properly use this particular stone, I quite attracted to it, very pretty stone, in the shape of a heart if i had a picture i would show you guys

I always try to listen to my stone. It might sound weird, but when i'm not sure what to do with a particular stone, I meditate with it and ask it to tell me what it wants or where it wants to be. Sometimes i'll carry one in my pocket, put it on my chakra, play music for it, put it on one of my plants, ect. Just spend time with it :)

Thanks for sharing Lulla, you actually made me think about how much time i should be spending with my crystals i use. Maybe putting a type of crystal near my plants will cure their problem.

I usually put them in plants when I feel like they need to be charged.

You can lay on bed and put smoky quartz on your forehead (area of third eye) or heart chakra, not intending to visualize anything, just relaxing, even forgetting that you have stone on your forehead. It's the method I usually use to relax better, using different stones. Usually sodalite is enough for me, but I discovered that pietersite and tiger's eye are very powerful stones. Greetings.
