My Perspective on Healing

One of the best things that has helped me when healing is allowing myself to immerse in whatever I am feeling instead of trying to distract myself from it.

I am not sure if this works for everyone, but it might work for some here that are going through their healing process.

Immersing myself in my emotions and triggers often helped me get through them and with each step of immersion, the reactions and emotions leveled out.

How did I immerse myself? What I would do is:
  1. Listen to music that fit with my mood and let my emotions flow with it.
  2. Sit and face my triggers and work out why they were happening.
  3. Lay on my bed to meditate and reflect on my issues.
  4. Research why I was feeling a certain way to gain clarity and then use what I found to apply it in a way I could work with.

Of course it wasn't linear. I'm still working at it as well!

Personally, writing is my preferred method of relaxation and healing. Whenever I'm feeling down or in need of motivation, inspiration, or simply a way to declutter my mind, I grab a pen and start writing. Even if it's just nonsensical words, it has a positive effect on my well-being...Also, spending time with animals, particularly cats, brings me great joy. I am actually very grateful to my furry loves because they have helped me immensely..

I love that you found your outlets that help you heal. Sometimes it's the simpler things we do in life that give us the biggest healing progress!

It's both spiritual and emotional healing that I am sharing my experience from. A lot of my emotional healing is tied to my spirit. Everyone is always welcome to share their experiences whenever I make a thread!

For sure though I can tell you've been through a lot from the rest of your response!

Small triggers can become complex especially when they build up from our past. It's like a tiny interwoven thread that takes just the right pick to remove otherwise it makes the trigger worse!

Whether emotional, physical, or spiritual, everything is energy vibrating at different frequencies.

Whatever brings us joy and happiness that are high vibrations is a great way to heal and destress.

Behind what some call spirituality and miracles is advance physics of advance energies.

Advance only because it is not uncovered yet or not well known yet.

@OldChap, indeed it is! And yes, the quantum physics is a part of spirituality that people sometimes overlook! But we are getting there for sure. :)

Cats are wonderful, they can teach us a lot about living in the moment and doing whatever feels right for you.
Seeing a cat all curled up into a little ball sleeping, not bothered by whatever is happening around,
is a great lesson in taking it easy and to stop stressing..

A few years back I learned that
my strong emotions
usually where triggers
related to old limiting beliefs
from the past (childhood).
This made it much easier.
Writing has been a great way
of taking care of myself
and tuning into my
spiritual self/Inner Being.
Abraham Hicks videos
helped me to
focus on better feeling thoughts
and to do things
which feel good.
I also have a great Acupuncturist
that is spiritual
and works with Energy
