I just wanted to ask about the ethics of readings!

Actually my only question is in regards to calling in other people's guides in order to convey messages in the "clients" best interest and highest good ( I say "clients" as I am only doing practice readings on here and for friends as well.

I will often receive messages (mostly clairaudiant and clairsentient) sometimes symbols or songs when I open up the channel.

Is it ok to when other peoples guides speak to me and If I speak to them? (with permission of course)

Please note that I never receive messages when I am "off duty" so to speak. I discovered that I am an empath and learnt at a very young age to not tap into this field unless I was verbally asked to do so. I decided to do this instinctively as one of my pet peeves is when people energetically manipulate others.

I am also wondering what the best way to close down connection and channel after a reading? I currently give thanks and the channel automatically closes. I think it may be very automatic for me though as I have such a strong intention to not interfere with another energy field. This is extremely important to me as I have grown up witnessing others manipulate people and spiritually to dis-empower them.

Reading through your post it sounds like you are already aware of what is ethically correct and not correct and with your own intuition have already set down rules for the way you work .....
Because you choose to work for the Highest Good and only asking for Guidance when You are actually working with someone you are doing all the right things....
