Back to the LOUNGE to play games there...!

I was hoping for some like minded people. Others who may have explored the inner journeys through practical meditation. If you've read "The games people play" you'll know what I mean.

At the moment I'm doing revision of course work that is used for a transpersonal psychology class I hope to be taking this autumn. It's really wild. I can apply by post, on line, or...wait for it...telepathy. That's the main reason I joined this forum, to learn telepathy. But also to try my own methods of mental communication.

To be honest, I got the distinct feeling this thread had given you and others some amusement. Which really surprises me when you see all the forum topics there is on offer. I'll give this some thought and try again at a later date - Telepathy Game No.2

I think you should keep trying. No I haven't read "Games People Play." But exercising these types of communication in a relaxed environment is a really good idea. I don't get enough practice. I think you just caught us all off guard! You should try again. :) By the way, the word and image "candle" keeps popping up in my head as I type this. Anyone know why? Or is It just me?

I am sorry thistle, I haven't read the book " The Games people play " .... I'm thinking maybe I should add that to my " books to read " list .

Sounds like an exciting class ! I am also interested in telepathy

Your thread is curious and sparks an inquiring mind, all in a good way, even if it didn't run the way you thought/ or wanted it to go. I do try to be serious, when need be .... doesn't always happen that way.

Telling me this defeats the object of the game!
The idea was that we build an inner room that serves as a base of mutual recognition. We all bring something to the table.

A candle is an excellent object to bring to the table!


And an image or picture tells a thousand words. So maybe word association and the use of symbols, just like some of the games played in the LOUNGE, would work much more efficiently than using lengthy dialogue.

Word play that limits the use of language has the added ability to focus in on meaning - when one or two words are all you can use, then the more powerful those words become.
