"If we say, 'There is a vastness to life which is unseen at present,'
we are stating a fact. It may not be our experience as yet, but it is
still a fact which nothing can destroy. So we are in a good position.
From this position we can begin to see life in a different way, the
way of non-division, of wholeness. We can begin seeing the entire
ocean instead of individual waves. What are some of these waves?
Obsessive ambition. Finding false comfort in crowds. Demanding
respect. Pretending to know. Individual waves cannot support a
ship. But the smooth and entire ocean easily does so."

Empty yourself of everything. Let the mind become still. The ten thousand things rise and fall, while the Self watches their return. They grow and flourish and then Return to the Source. Returning to the Source is stillness, which is the Way of Nature.

Heed these words, You who wish to probe the depths of nature: If you do not find within yourself that which you seek, neither will you find it outside. In you is hidden the treasure of treasures. Know Thyself and you will know the Universe and the Gods.

Dr. Rupert Sheldrake: Can Science and Religion partner in a new phase of human exploration?
Published on 24 Jun 2017
Author and Biologist Dr. Rupert Sheldrake elaborates on the antagonistic relationship between science and religion. Dr. Sheldrake argues that science, like fundamentalistic religion, has been taken captive by a materialistic dogmatic view of nature and that a new creative, cooperative paradigm is needed for science and religion to evolve our understanding of consciousness and the cosmos.

“We do not live on the Earth, we are a part of how the Earth lives.”
~David Richo
“Returning to the source is stillness,” Lao Tsu whispers across the ages. When your inner being is gentle and still, like a mountain lake, experience expands into presence, becoming a reflection and expression of the world. Like Venus stirring from her sleep, we awaken to find ourselves home. Even when we were lost in dreams, we’ve always been home…" ~Christopher

"When you look into the blue sky on a sunny day do you glimpse a ball of nuclear fire or, as the London poet and mystic, William Blake, reported, the heavenly host singing God's praises? It's an old question, revived today by the notion of panpsychism which suggests that the sun might in some way be considered conscious. In this Science Set Free podcast, Rupert Sheldrake and Mark Vernon ask whether the sun is a psychical as well as physical entity in the solar system, and consider what that might mean for our participation in and connection to the cosmic dimensions of ecological life. Mark draws on Plato's notion that matter is a manifestation of mind, as well as how the sun was honoured in ancient Egypt; and Rupert explores how the sun is regarded in eastern religious practices, to suggest how it might be meaningful to relate to the sun today, as well as enjoy its light and warmth."

I happened upon a book store this last week and found a book by Demonic Goodall with translations of selected Hindu Scriptures. In it, he uses the Rig-Veda Hymn X (he incorrectly tagged it as another Veda) about Primal Man (Purusha) and the sacrifice of the Sun to produce man in its image. It's a giant riddle, but gives a good indication about the mind they knew existed within the light itself. To them, Primal Man starts as the Sun itself, then manifests as sacrifice for one being to then become many on the planets (gods) that were created. Parallel to this riddle, you see the same in Colossians 1:15-17 and in all resolutions to the premise of enlightenment -- we are all one, yet many.
The primary story tells how light cannot be seen unless it manifests itself into opposite, which is then the visible universe. The Sun is the central mechanism for this process of sacrifice, which is necessary to feed all beings (light manifests, then returns). The return of light from outside is then taken inside thee person (enlightenment), which is the process to know yourself.
Hymn X can be found on the Sacred Scripture archive.
