Curious to know ......
I am curious to know, what is your purpose, goal, or desire that you are seeking in meditation ?
Do you meditate for just one reason, or a variety of reasons ?
Why do people meditate ?
blessings,
Dream Angel xx

I decided to meditate because I have this inner 'static' this always having my brain on a little wheel running and running, to slow down my manic thinking processes when I'm worried or agitated by something. It has helped me, healthwise to slow down all this flow of thoughts that has been of no help to me or my problems. It definitely has made me feel better. Even if my way of meditating is far from perfect.

My own purpose for meditation in the beginning was to go into the silence where I discovered it had a very calming peaceful affect on my body and mind.... to leave the physical world behind, then after awhile to my utter astonishment all sorts of things started happening, like being sucked out of my body with a hoover and travelling on the astral plane doing so many things... learning, helping people, healing, travelling into my future and generally doing things I couldn't do whilst in the physical world, it's cool
Love light and blessings to all

I meditate to find a little peace and quiet and hopefully in that peace and quiet the obvious message will be more clear.

Hi Dream Angel / guy's
At first I meditated because I needed strength...
I was at my lowest ebb.
When the strength was felt / integrated the energies changed automatically.
Your inner self / higher self or whatever you want to call It, knows best for you..

That is also my reason, the higher self connection.
I know of know better way to experience self love.

In the first instance, I started meditating out of desperation to try anything to kick my depression (which did work by the way), then once I started getting better, meditation became an enjoyable way to just have a bit of time to myself when I didn't have to think about the mundane parts of life (what to cook for tea etc), then I started to really enjoy the peace, stillness and love that came from each meditation experience.
I also find that meditation helps me to continue healing and continuing to develop my spiritual abilities and strenghten the bonds with my spiritual team and self or intuition. The feeling of calm, peace, trust and knowing that follows a meditation is just wonderful - bordering on addictive!
Love, light and blessings,
Moon Willow
