What the hell are we supposed to do?

I knew a young spirit who had been raised on ideas based in fear and control and she was a mere sheep forcibly moulded by those who were supposed to love her and help her grow. I never forced her to follow my ways, but I encouraged her to look and see the differences. I encouraged her to grow into more like no one had ever done for her. I saw the light within her and connected with her. I did my work by doing my best to help her undo years of conditioning so her beautiful spirit could grow into something more. She had a lot of revelations she shared with me. The most striking part is that she knew she was unsatisfied and that there was more but remained where she was for so long and lived lies because of her fear. But as I encouraged her to show her true spirit and showed her my true self who she had no reason to fear, I drew out an amazing soul that was like a scared and abused child that often was fearful and reacted angrily. And looking back I shed the light on a new path everyone else in her life hid from her to control her. I listened to her, not the other way around.

You said it yourself, it seems as though most others are children. But remember, children who are not properly encouraged to grow will become fearful of growing. If you want there to be less children, start by helping the others around you grow and mature. Pose new questions, light new paths, share different perspectives. You may not be able to do so on a large scale, but by starting small we can make larger waves over time.

So you want change. Change away from corruption, greed, and hostility.

If there's change, it won't be a surging army of enlightened folks marching on government with slogans and signs demanding corrupt politicians resign. That expresses outrage but generally changes nothing. Most likely someone even more corrupt would seize power, anyway, as overthrow leads to a vacumn, and vacumns attract dirt.

Work with who you are and what you can actually change. You can change your attitudes, your habits, your views and actions.

You can influence the thinking of those you meet, those you speak to and interract with. Influence; bring them to a point where they can appreciate your point of view, understand your thinking, or simply agree that things have gotten way out of hand.

Help others whenever you can. Lead by example. Model how you believe others should live and behave.

If each of us reached out and spread kindness and gentleness and fairness to all we met, we would eventually reach everyone on the planet. It would take many years, and likely meet with resistance from quite a few, but someday.... someday...

I've gone out and done a whole bunch of stuff over the years and it's been intriguing me that I was never really that interested in following things to what might be called maturity and reaping the rewards but would always merely takes things to the point where I had them mostly understood but would then just drop them to go off and start something else I didn't understand but then enough of all this has happened over the five decades I've been alive that I can look back and see how it was all about introducing new ways of doing things and specifically how all this is tied to attitudes.

It's like there's an underlying sense of the freedom to trust in oneself and get into anything and give it a go without even knowing where it's going to go but that the energetic component will be what actually grows and so it's like seeding a way of being and doing.

And then over the years I've seen this conventional success thing as somewhat illusive but at the same time had a real and substantial underpinning of security, as it were, to keep doing whatever it is I might think is interesting to do and resting within this realising that just pure inspiration is almost enough... well it is.

Now I can go out and do stuff not needing to sell or make money at all and almost because that need is gone the stuff that I do can kind of be purer in it's intent to inspire.

After my last exhibition of artworks I had several people come up to me and say "I have no idea what your artworks are saying but I know they are saying something and I can feel that what they are saying is really important and I spent loads of time just gazing at them wondering what exactly it was and it's like it's all about something I've wanted in myself but haven't seen it before so obviously real but still sitting in mystery... by the way, who are you and how come you're not famous?'

I think indigo kids tend to serve their purpose without even being aware of it themselves.

Often I think it is just an instinct to them. I know that if I had full awareness as a kid I would not have been able to do what I needed to do.

After awakening I transitioned to indigo crystal self.

My indigo traits of challenging old systems and paradigms are still very strong but tapping into crystal self means that I am now becoming more about gentle action for change.

My indigo self can cary the energy of anger and can put up a good challange if needed but my crystal self is aware of the need to approach things in a calm and diplomatic manner...

It seems that the Era of the protest has sort of become more quiet (or is just not as publicised in mainstream media) and people of this era are having to find much more creative ways of making change.

Of course their is still a need for protest but their is also lots of room for other methods which catalyse change too (I am still figuring out what that means for myself right now too).

I tend to dabble in various things too Mr. Interesting without really knowing why.

I sort of just get the feeling that all my dabblings will somehow tie in together one day.

Interesting about the comments on your artwork, it makes me want to check some of it out.

I have a photobucket account under the moniker quickkiwi and a google using those words will take you straight there. A lot of it is artwork but there's also quite a bit that stretches that idea as in recent years I've just used it as a dropbox of sorts to be able to grab links if I can't upload from my 'puter.

But at the same time I'm not really very good at the kind of CV orientated way of sorting out it all into a comprehensive selling point and often even forget to make records of what I'm doing simply because I forget. Even in the past some of the most spectacular things went completely un-recorded as no one thought to do such as, usually, it was just too much fun doing it.
