Flamingo Feather

In an effort to rebuild my belief, I decided to start small with connecting my thoughts with my reality. I guess I wanted to prove that I can create reality with thought. So, I concentrated on coming across a flamingo feather. I kind of laughed a bit to myself and said that if I come across that, I'd stop testing my belief and just have faith.

A few hours later, as I was scrolling through my Pinterest feed, one of the people I follow had pinned a picture of flamingos. And the photo pinned just beneath that one was a white feather on the ground. I didn't find nor see specifically a flamingo feather, but I think that's a pretty close coincidence!

I'm not following flamingo or bird boards on Pinterest. In fact, the pinner is a commercial pinner, just beefing up her boards with content. I don't even know who pinned the white feather photo, most likely from a spiritual board on which I probably would be likely to find other feathers if I looked. I just thought it was an odd pairing given my previous thoughts that day.

And I just saw flamingo feather off to the side and had already closed it all down then decided to come back opening the browser again. It just caught my eye and was gone before it registered.

It's a lovely kind of off on the edges thing you picked and the simple set of words is a delightful dance of letters bouncing gracefully. Well found and well conceived and all that other stuff. Bon Voyage!

You sound like me right now Teak. Testing my belief instead of just having faith. I too, try to give myself tests and am often given signs just as you have been given. Since it's never exactly what I ask for I continue to wonder if that was my answer or not. I wonder why that is.....

I'm at the point where I'm allowing these half-signs or coincidences to build on each other. I'm very slowly moving into my belief again. It has been a long time that I've been without it. I hope you get to have the experiences that you want to have.

Interestingly, I had a discussion that involved a flamingo feather. Not everything pans out to mean something but it drew me to this thread. Simply on the specificity of this and a previous conversation with someone else, similar in nature. May I add you to my buddy list?

Sure
